Three Brothers, CA Trucker Hat
Three Brothers, CA Trucker Hat
The Inspiration:
The Ahwahnechee name was "Kom-po-pai-zes" and is translated as "mountains with heads like frogs when ready to leap." Sad to say it came to be known as Three Brothers after the three sons of chief Tenaya who was captured at the base of the peaks. Located just east of El Capitan in Yosemite Valley, Three Brothers is a beautiful sight to behold along the shore of the Merced River.
John Muir considered the view from Eagle Peak (the topmost peak of Three Brothers) to be the most beautiful view of Yosemite Valley available. The trail that leads to Eagle Peak connects to the trail at the top of Yosemite Falls. So ,while you're up there, go take a look and see what John Muir appreciated!
